Hej! I’m Lena, a Swedish-born knit and crochet designer now living on California’s Central Coast. My creative roots run deep in Scandinavian tradition, blended with the global styles and trends I’ve loved exploring throughout my life.
I picked up my first needles and hook back in the early ’70s (thanks to patient teachers and endless curiosity), and I’ve been creating ever since. From the mohair sweater craze of the ’80s to today’s modern, wearable designs, my passion has always been to combine timeless techniques with fresh ideas.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats in the yarn world: developing products, designing patterns, producing TV shows, and even creating hundreds of how-to videos to teach others the joy of making. What stays constant is my love of sharing, helping makers of all levels feel inspired, confident, and proud of what they create.
Now, I’m bringing my focus back to where it all started: directly connecting with fellow makers.
